CMS (Medicare) Guidelines

Some home health agencies do a better job of caring for their patients than others. Home health agencies give quality care when they give their patients care and treatment known to get the best results for each patient’s condition. Medicare’s Home Health Compare rates how well home health agencies care for their patients based upon various measures of quality and against state and national averages.

State Audits and Surveys

The Ohio Department of Health conducts an unannounced, in-depth, on-site audit every one to three years.
